About

Who am I

My name is Benjamin, I’m an engineering student from Chile. My main area of expertise is electronics, but I sometimes dabble in mechanics, hydraulics, programming, and even a little bit of city homesteading. I also like photography, greasy food, and dogs.

What is this about

I started this blog to document some of my more interesting adventures, as well as some of the ones that I felt had little documentation on the Internet. The main point of it all is to provide insight not only of the end result, but of the creative and design process that a project requires. This includes failures, retcons, missteps and dead ends along the way, to give aspiring makers a sense of perspective about creating things in general.

The blog will be mostly about electronics projects, home improvement and what I like to call “city homesteading” (the sort of self-reliance and hard work of a homestead in a city home), AV production, recycling and energy efficiency, along with pretty much anything, both past and present, that seems interesting to talk about. So, have fun and make something!

I’m also very willing to answer questions and strike conversations, so feel free to drop me a line at my Contact page if you wish.
